iMovie Tutorials

It's time for the video unit! After watching the iMovie tutorials I got a really good grasp on how to use the program, and found them extremely useful! iMovie can create slideshows with pictures, utilize audio, and is mostly used for video editing. iMovie allows you to enhance your videos as well using titles and transitions. Titles are helpful so the viewers know exactly what they are about to watch, and transitions make the movies more visually appealing. iMovie is also good for fixing shaky videos so you get a smooth visual. As soon as you drag the movie from the imported file into the editing file, it automatically fixes the stability of the video, which is also adjustable. So overall iMovie is a pretty sweet application that is easy, fun, and great as far as simplicity.

Photoshop examples!

In photoshop, we learned how to "remove" a person using the clone stamp. The clone stamp takes small pictures of the background, and then "paints" over the rest of the picture using the background.

We also worked with hue and saturation on the pictures, which affects the coloring and saturation of the pigment within the picture.

Well.... my iPhoto skills have now progressed! I can officially edit pictures, export them to different sizes and formats, and share them! iPhoto is great as far as simplicity, because it is so easy to make slide shows, calendars, books, and more!

Welcome!

Hey! I'm in multimedia right now so i'm supposed to tell you about my blog....I guess it's pretty cool? For our first unit we are supposed to be learning how to use iPhoto 09, and how to work it. We are starting off with the basics, such as importing pictures into an album and so on. Right now that is basically all I have learned to do, which is pretty easy considering you go to apple, find import, and choose the pictures you want to add to your album. I'll keep you updated on what we are doing in class as we complete our assignments! ~Mo
